What to Expect From Your Newborn Session
You don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose, where to stand, or how to get everyone to look perfect at the same time. That’s what I’m here for.
Your session is intentionally relaxed and designed to move at your baby's pace. There's plenty of time built in for feeding, soothing, changing, and cuddling whenever your baby needs it.
Family Portraits
We'll begin with relaxed family portraits outdoors on a nearby nature trail, weather permitting. This gives us beautiful, natural photographs of your growing family before moving inside for the newborn portion of your session.
Parent + Baby Portraits
Inside, we'll create intimate black-and-white portraits focused on the connection between you and your baby. I'll provide guidance before your session on exactly what to wear for this portion.
Baby-Only Portraits
Then it's all about your little one.
We'll create a variety of beautifully styled baby portraits using soft wraps, textures, simple outfits, and carefully selected props while always following your baby's comfort and cues.
There is never a need to rush. If baby needs a bottle, diaper change, cuddles, or a break, we simply stop and take care of them.
