Life is busy. That’s just a fact.
We get caught up in all of our responsibilities with school, sports, work, family, and everything in between. Even the day-to-day things can take up all our time: keeping up with the housework, keeping everyone fed and happy, getting to bed on time, doing homework… It’s so easy to let other things like family pictures slide.
But the truth is: your child will only be this age for a short time. The moment you freeze in time with a camera will never come again, and it’s so important to be able to have something to look back on to remember these precious times.
It’s so important not just to have digital files but actual physical pictures that you can keep and pass on to future generations. You can tell stories to your kids and your grandchildren about their aunts and uncles, their cousins, their parents. It’s something that they can hold in their hands, something that will never go out of date and will never be lost in the overabundance of online files, either.
For example, look at some of the pictures from a recent family photo session.
Look at the way this little guy has nestled into his dad’s arms without a care in the world. That’s a precious moment and one that both of them will look back on as they get older.
Or what about this one, with a smile so contagious I can’t help but to smile when I look at it? That’s the kind of thing that should hang on a wall or go in a photo album to preserve those memories forever.
There is absolutely no substitute for these moments frozen in time by a family photographer. These pictures will hang on mantles long after your kids have grown up and left the house, and photo albums will be cracked open to reminisce long after parents and grandparents have moved on.
Your pictures are how you will be remembered. Make them last.
